Okay, so I didn’t post a Weekly Thoughts last week and I apologize. I literally have no excuse other than being lazy. I spent a lot of time playing games, and for a long time I thought that would be what I did for my streams. Looking back though I think that playing shooters, especially online multiplayer, are probably not going to be a good idea for me.
Let’s face it, I’m not great at them. I’m really not great at pretty much any game I play. I haven’t finished the main story in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey! The biggest issue is that I don’t always stick with a game until I finish it. I’ll start it up, get distracted with my friends playing online. Then forget about it, get back into it, rinse, and repeat.
As for games like Call of Duty, PubG, Rainbow Six, and others like them I’m pretty much trash. I enjoy them and will play them, but I know better than to play Ranked most of the time or even really care about how well I’m doing. I just play to have fun, but that’s how it’s supposed to be right?
I don’t really know the approach I want to take though. Right now I am in the process of figuring out how I want to go about streaming almost from the ground up. My main computer isn’t good enough to be able to stream and play games at the same time. So, I have been thinking about trying to set up a 2nd computer for me to stream. With this just comes more things that I’ll need to consider and think about doing differently.
That will be fine though, whatever it is I end up doing. As for content though I am still kind of at a loss. I would like to be able to play something. At the same time I also want to switch it up from just me playing games to me actually having something specific to talk about. A topic of the day if you will.
So the next little while is going to be me working through all of that while trying to maintain blogs and the website. Those are my thoughts of the week. Mostly a distraction from the real world stuff going on that really doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. If you’re reading I’m sure you know exactly what I mean.
As always, remember to #loveyourself
