I’ll start off with saying I’m 24 (no matter what anybody tells you!), and this year will be the 11th year turning 24, lol. I have been happily married for 10 years this year. Sometimes it feels like forever, but for the most part it feels like just the other day we were getting married. Of course we’ve had ups and downs but we’ve managed to work our way through them. I couldn’t ask for a better life partner. I am looking forward to spending many more years by her side.
My oldest child is 7, and will be 8 on Halloween this year. Possibly the coolest birthday ever (until she’s about 16 anyway). She’s growing up too fast and I wish she would stop already. I would like to point out, because I’m sure you’ll notice when you see, her moles. She is covered in them literally from head to toe. She has one large one on her back they call a Nevus.
When she was born we were told they had never seen anything like this, and brought us some doctor book describing what it was and said that babies born with that condition usually didn’t live longer the 4-5 years. For a brief moment we were mortified at the situation our child had been dealt. We learned very quickly that the book was outdated and was very inaccurate. There were some things that we had to learn about and deal with that (hopefully) most parents never have to. Since then she is growing and happy and we couldn’t be happier with her.
She started playing softball last year and she really enjoyed it, so we look forward to another summer of that this year. She is super excited about it.
My youngest is my son, who just recently turned 2. He turned out to be a real handful, but I love the hell out of him. His laugh will melt your heart, and he has a very funny personality. Thankfully for him we haven’t had anything out of the ordinary with him yet. For the most part he’s as happy as can be for a 2 year old. He seems to like hitting his head into things, occasionally my nuts but what can you do? Just gotta learn to be quicker than him I guess. He is pretty smart though. Not really too much else to say about him at this point.
Those are the most important parts about me. Other than that, I am currently working in IT (and hopefully the rest of my working career unless content creation takes off). I have loved working on and with computers for as long as I can remember. I would help my dad work on his friend’s computers when I was a kid. As I got older I started doing more on my own. Eventually I got my act together and got some certifications. Here I am now working as an IT Help-desk. So far it really has been a dream come true for me.
As for content creation, I have been interested in that for a long time. For a good while I just didn’t think that it was something that I was capable of. I’m talking well before Twitch or anything like that came about back when it was mainly YouTube. Since then I discovered Twitch, and at first I wasn’t really serious about it. I would hit the live button on my Xbox just to see what happens. As I continued on with that (switched to Mixer, then back to Twitch when they shut down) I started actually working on trying to make my streams look better.
Now I’m to the point where I think I feel comfortable. I’ve gotten to a point where I want to do more than just live stream. I have a voice that I want to get heard, a face I want to be seen, and a message to get across to anyone willing to hear it. Besides the live streams I have an audio podcast I’m going to be working on, a video podcast I’m going to be working on, and also working on getting some videos up on YouTube. I also have my blogs here on my website and blogs over on the Shadow Pack Gaming website.
Shadow Pack Gaming
Speaking of Shadow Pack Gaming, this is the last bit for my About Me. For a little over a year now I have been a part of the awesome team content creators called… you guessed it, Shadow Pack Gaming! To be honest I have pretty much sit in the shadows (no that wasn’t planned) of the team mainly taking in information trying to learn what it is I’m supposed to be doing for most of the time. I attend the meetings but mostly kept to myself most of the time, and it isn’t anything against anyone else I just haven’t been comfortable putting myself out there.
This team has helped me to somewhat overcome that though, and for that I am super grateful. If you’re interested in seeing what the team is about, go to the Shadow Pack Gaming site and check out the other members on the team. It is made up of a wide variety of people who are just trying to do what they are passionate about.
